We invite all debaters to join us at the BP pro-am tournament 2022. A new debating season has begun, which means that all old and new debaters will have the opportunity to test their skills. The tournament will take place on 30.10.2022 at TalTech.

A BP pro-am tournament means that all teams can consist of either two novices or one experienced and one novice debater. A novice has debated the BP format for less than a year and hasn’t broken in any tournaments. Everyone has the chance to show their argumentation skills in 4 preliminary rounds, in which all speeches are 5 minutes long. The four best teams will then advance to the finals, where they have the opportunity to give 7-minute speeches to ensure their success.

Reg fee: 

The price for members of the Estonian Debating Society is 10 euros for participation in 1 tournament, 18 euros for participation in both tournaments (29.10 EST/RUS tournament and 30.10)
Price for non-community members – 12 and 20 euros respectively.
